Upon arrival at the Emergency Department, you will be assigned a temporary Color Code which establishes access to the examination room.
The visit is carried out on the basis of the clinical priorities defined at the triage; the order (visible on the monitor positioned in the waiting room) is constantly updated and is based on clinical priorities, NOT on the arrival time.
The assigned Code may be confirmed or modified in the opinion of the doctor before discharge.
 

If a patient with a red or orange code arrives in the Emergency Room, the wait will be extended to allow staff to provide more urgent care.
Patients classified as "white code", if not exempt, will be required to pay the emergency room ticket of € 25.
 

1- Red
Emergency. Access to the examination room is immediate.
 
2- Orange
Undeferrable urgency. Access to the examination room may be preceded by a short wait.
 
3- Light blue
Deferrable urgency. Access to the examination room takes place after the red and orange codes.
 
4- Green
Minor urgency. The visit is carried out as soon as possible, compatibly with other emergencies.
 
5- White
Not urgent. The visit is carried out as soon as possible, compatibly with other emergencies.
