Cell Factory

The focus of research activity is the development of advanced therapies as innovative curative tools for the treatment of serious diseases for which conventional treatments have proven ineffective or absent. In fact, the Pharmaceutical Workshop is licensed to produce cell therapy drugs, which together with gene therapy drugs and tissue engineering products are called Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP).
